For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A low pressure of 28.7 inches will stall in northern
Ontario tonight and slowly weaken to 29.2 inches over James Bay by
Wednesday evening. Meanwhile, a ridge of 30.0 inches will build
into the western Great Lakes Thursday. Early Friday, a weak low of
29.7 inches will pass over Lake Superior and stall near Lake Huron
after which a shortwave ridge will build into the Upper
Mississippi River Valley Saturday night and Sunday. Several weak
low pressure systems will then pass over Lake Superior Monday
through much of next week.
