EASTWARD TO THE CANADIAN MARITIMES THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING. AT THE
SAME TIME...A 30.7 INCH HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE WILL BUILD THROUGH THE
NORTHERN PLAINS TO THE UPPER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY. THE RIDGE WILL THEN
CROSS THE UPPER GREAT LAKES FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY WHILE
WEAKENING TO 30.3 INCHES. THIS RIDGE WILL REMAIN OVER THE UPPER GREAT
LAKES THROUGH SUNDAY. A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE AVERAGING 29.8 INCHES
WILL MOVE FROM THE CENTRAL PLAINS LATE SUNDAY INTO THE SOUTHERN GREAT
LAKES REGION BY MONDAY AS IT DEEPENS TO 29.7 INCHES. A TROUGH OF 29.9
INCHES ASSOCIATED WITH AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE
NORTHERN GREAT LAKES TUESDAY.
