.SYNOPSIS...A 29.5 INCH LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OFF THE SOUTHERN COAST OF
NOVA SCOTIA WILL DEEPEN TO 29.3 INCHES AS IT MOVES NORTH OF NOVA
SCOTIA THIS AFTERNOON. TRAILING THIS LOW...A 30.0 INCH TROUGH STRETCHES
WEST ACROSS LAKE HURON AND NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN. THIS TROUGH WILL
WEAKEN AND SLOWLY DROP SOUTH TODAY WHILE A 30.4 INCH HIGH PRESSURE
RIDGE OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS DRIFTS SLOWLY EAST INTO THE UPPER
GREAT LAKES TONIGHT. AS THE HIGH CONTINUES EAST INTO NEW ENGLAND THIS
WEEKEND AND WEAKENS TO 30.3 INCHES...A 29.9 INCH TROUGH WILL REMAIN
STATIONARY IN THE LEE OF THE NORTHERN ROCKIES.
