.SYNOPSIS...A 30.0 INCH RIDGE WILL REMAIN OVER THE LOWER GREAT LAKES
THROUGH THURSDAY AS A HIGH STRETCHES WESTWARD FROM THE CENTRAL
APPALACHIANS. IN ADDITION...A 30.1 INCH HIGH OVER WESTERN HUDSON BAY
WILL SHIFT EAST INTO NORTHERN QUEBEC ON THURSDAY AND STRETCH A RIDGE
SOUTH INTO THE UPPER GREAT LAKES REGION. THIS RIDGE WILL REMAIN IN
PLACE THROUGH SATURDAY AS THE QUEBEC HIGH SHIFTS SOUTHEAST INTO THE
NEW ENGLAND STATES. MEANWHILE...A 29.6 INCH LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IN
SOUTHERN ALBERTA WILL MOVE EAST AND EXPAND ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL
CANADA AND THE CENTRAL PLAINS ON THURSDAY AND REMAIN NEARLY
STATIONARY INTO THE WEEKEND WHILE BECOMING FOCUSED IN THE NORTHERN
PLAINS. A 29.9 INCH TROUGH WILL EXTEND NORTHEAST FROM THE LOW TOWARDS
JAMES BAY THIS WEEKEND AND BE LOCATED JUST TO THE NORTH OF LAKE
SUPERIOR.
