Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A quick moving trough of 29.6 inches will sweep
through the Upper Great Lakes Wednesday night. On Thursday, a
30.1 inch ridge will move over the Upper Great Lakes and build to
30.3 inches on Friday, associated with a 30.5 inch high over the
central Plains. That high will shift to the northeastern US
Saturday, and a 29.8 inch trough will track across the Upper Great
Lakes in the afternoon and evening. Brief ridging of 30.1 inches
will pass through the area Sunday morning ahead of a trough that
may move into the upper Great Lakes early next week.
