Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.9 inch ridge over the Upper Great Lakes will
shift eastward today, allowing a quick moving trough averaging
29.6 inches to slide across Lake Superior late tonight. On
Thursday afternoon, a 30.1 inch ridge will begin to move over lake
Superior and build to 30.3 inches on Friday, associated with a
30.5 inch high over the central Plains. That high will shift to
the northeastern U.S. by Saturday, and a 29.8 inch trough will
track across the Upper Great Lakes in the afternoon and evening.
Brief ridging of 30.1 inches will pass through the area on Sunday.
