...Additional Flood Threat Increasing Mid and Late Week...

An active weather pattern is expected into Saturday. Periods of
thunderstorms with heavy rainfall is likely. Fueled by very humid
air just to the south, the rainfall rates with these systems will
be high, and thus the flooding threat will be on the increase
through the week.

Should these thunderstorms track over the same location with
heavy rain, flooding would be the result, especially if they
occur in the far southeast already hit with flooding. Urban areas
will also be more at risk for flooding.

Keep up with later forecasts, for the potential of any flash
flood watches or eventual flood warnings.
