...Rising river levels with flooding possible later this week...
Low pressure over the central Plains this afternoon will
lift north into central Wisconsin by Monday afternoon.
Ahead of the low will be a surge of deep subtropical moisture. This
anomalously high moisture will lead to favorable conditions for moderate
to heavy rain across southern Wisconsin over the next few days. Storm
total rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2.5 inches are expected...and this will
result in rises on area rivers and streams. The potential exists for
rivers to reach their bankfull levels...with some possibly reaching
flood stage. Please monitor the latest river forecasts and statements
Below is preliminary river forecast information. River forecasts are
normally updated twice a day-in the morning and evening. Seven day
river forecasts take into account past precipitation...soil
moisture, etc...and predicted future precipitation for the next 48
