HYDROLOGIC OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MILWAUKEE/SULLIVAN WI
118 PM CDT MON JUN 16 2014

...FLOODING POSSIBLE THIS WEEK...

SEVERAL ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN ARE EXPECTED THIS
WEEK WHICH WILL INCREASE THE POTENTIAL FOR AREAL AND FLASH FLOODING.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS THROUGH FRIDAY WILL BE IN THE 3 TO 5 INCH
RANGE WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS. THIS RAINFALL MAY ALSO PUSH
RIVERS ABOVE THEIR BANKS...EXCEEDING FLOOD STAGE.

A VERY MOIST AIRMASS AND A STATIONARY FRONT SITUATED ACROSS
SOUTHERN WISCONSIN WILL PROVIDE THE FOCUS FOR THE HEAVY
RAIN. SOME STORMS COULD PRODUCE 1 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN IN A SHORT
PERIOD OF TIME.

THE FIRST ROUND OF THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT INTO
TUESDAY MORNING. A SECOND ROUND OF STORMS IS LIKELY TUESDAY
AFTERNOON AND NIGHT. ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED AT TIMES
WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
