* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  WASHINGTON COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN...
  OZAUKEE COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN...

* UNTIL 900 PM CDT

* AT 652 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
  THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING IN
  THE ADVISORY AREA. DOPPLER RADAR IS ESTIMATING RAINFALL RATES OF
  1.00 TO 1.50 INCHES PER HOUR IN NORTHERN OZAUKEE AND NORTHERN
  WASHINGTON COUNTIES. AS STORMS MOVE THROUGH THESE AREAS...RATES OF
  1.00 TO 2.00 INCHES PER HOUR ARE EXPECTED.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  MENOMONEE FALLS...WEST BEND...MEQUON...HARTFORD...BROWN DEER...

  FREDONIA...RIVER HILLS...NEWBURG...GERMANTOWN AND RICHFIELD.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO
AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. FLOOD WATERS ARE USUALLY
DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS POWERFUL
ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED
ROADS MAKE THE SMART CHOICE...TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN.
