...THE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
415 AM CDT FOR CENTRAL DANE COUNTY...

At 252 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in
the advisory area. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Madison, Sun Prairie, Fitchburg, Middleton, Waunakee, McFarland,
Monona, Windsor, Shorewood Hills, Maple Bluff, Camp Randall Stadium,
Token Creek, Henry Vilas Zoo and UW-Madison.

Additional rainfall of 0.50 to 0.75 inches is expected in the
Madison area through sunrise. This additional rain will result in
minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
