...THE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
630 AM CDT FOR SAUK COUNTY...

At 255 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated more moderate to possibly
heavy rain to move into Sauk County through sunrise. This will cause
urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area. 2.5 to 3.5
inches of rain have already fallen over northwest Sauk County.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Baraboo, Reedsburg, Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin Dells, Lake Delton,
West Baraboo, Plain, North Freedom, Merrimac, La Valle, Rock Springs,
Loganville, Ironton, Lime Ridge, Leland, Devils Lake St Park and Hill
Point.

Additional rainfall of 0.50 to 0.75 inches is expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
