FREEZING OF YESTERDAYS WET ROADS.

SNOW WILL BEGIN DURING THE EARLY MORNINGS TUESDAY...MAINLY OVER
THE FAR SOUTH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

HEAVY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE LIKELY ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST
TO EAST CENTRAL WISCONSIN TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. A WINTER
STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT NORTH OF A LINE FROM DARLINGTON TO
MADISON TO SHEBOYGAN. WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES ARE IN EFFECT
ELSEWHERE EXCEPT FOR THE FAR SOUTHEAST.  THERE WILL BE A BURST OF
SNOW EVEN IN THE FAR SOUTHEAST THAT MAY AFFECT THE MORNING COMMUTE...
BUT THEN TRANSITION TO A RAIN SNOW MIX.

THE SNOW WILL BE FROM A STRONG LOW THAT IS EXPECTED TO EXIT
EASTERN KANSAS TUESDAY MORNING AND MOVE NORTHEAST ACROSS FAR
SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN TUESDAY EVENING.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED. HOWEVER SNOWFALL REPORTS
WILL BE APPRECIATED TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT.

A GALE WATCH IS IN EFFECT TUESDAY. STRONG LOW PRESSURE EXITING
EASTERN KANSAS WILL MOVE NORTHEAST INTO FAR SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN BY
EARLY TUESDAY EVENING...BRINGING STRONG EAST WINDS AND HIGH WAVES
TUESDAY. THEN AS THE STRONG LOW MOVES OFF TO LOWER
MICHIGAN...WINDS BECOME NORTHWEST LATE TUESDAY NIGHT AND INTO
WEDNESDAY. SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES OR GALE WARNINGS WILL BE NEEDED
FOR MOST OF THIS PERIOD.
