A BRIEF CHANGE OVER OF RAIN BACK TO SNOW IS POSSIBLE INTO EARLY
THIS EVENING...ESPECIALLY NORTH AND WEST OF MADISON. UP TO ONE
HALF INCH OF SNOWFALL IS POSSIBLE...BEFORE THE PRECIPITATION ENDS.
UNTREATED ROADS MAY REMAIN SLIPPERY INTO THIS EVENING ACROSS THE
AREA...AS COLDER TEMPERATURES MOVE INTO THE AREA ON GUSTY WEST
WINDS.

A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT TONIGHT ACROSS THE
AREA. GUSTY WEST WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH...WITH WIND GUSTS OF 45 TO
55 MPH...ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA INTO THIS EVENING...AFTER
THE PASSAGE OF A STRONG COLD FRONT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

PASSING LOW PRESSURE MAY BRING ANOTHER ROUND OF LIGHT SNOW AND
WINTRY WEATHER TO SOUTHERN WISCONSIN LATER WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
INTO THURSDAY MORNING. A PERIOD OF LIGHT FREEZING RAIN IS POSSIBLE
OVER PARTS OF SOUTHEAST AND SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN DURING THIS
PERIOD...WITH LIGHT SNOW POSSIBLE ELSEWHERE. LIGHT GLAZING OF ROAD
SURFACES ARE POSSIBLE IN SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN. THIS MAY IMPACT THE
THURSDAY MORNING COMMUTE.

POINT LIGHTHOUSE...AND UNTIL 3 AM WEDNESDAY NORTH OF THERE. WEST
GALES UP TO 45 KNOTS ARE EXPECTED IN THESE AREAS DURING THIS
PERIOD. HIGH WAVES WILL OCCUR INTO THE EVENING IN ICE FREE AREAS.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MAY BE NEEDED AFTER THE GALE WARNING
EXPIRES LATER TONIGHT...FOR GUSTY WEST WINDS SLOWLY WEAKENING.
