...BLACK ICE ON UNTREATED ROADS...

CLEAR SKIES HAVE ALLOWED AIR TEMPERATURES TO FALL TO NEAR ...AND
BELOW FREEZING. RESIDUAL WATER AND PUDDLES ON ROADS AND WALKWAYS
IS FREEZING...CREATING DANGEROUS BLACK ICE. UNTREATED ROADS AND
SIDEWALKS WILL BE ICY AND SLICK.

IN ADDITION...AREAS OF FOG OVERNIGHT WILL ADD TO THE GLAZE ON
SURFACES THAT WERE WASHED CLEAN OF ANY RESIDUAL SALT BY EARLIER
RAINS.

MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR THESE ICY AREAS AND REDUCE SPEEDS
AND LEAVE PLENTY OF BRAKING DISTANCE BETWEEN YOU AND OTHER
VEHICLES...AS WELL AS WHEN APPROACHING INTERSECTIONS.
