...PATCHY FREEZING DRIZZLE AND FOG GLAZING UNTREATED SURFACES...

FOG...AND PATCHY LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE...ARE FREEZING IN SPOTS
ON UNTREATED ROADS AND SIDEWALKS...AS WELL AS ON VEHICLES AND
OTHER ELEVATED SURFACES. WHILE ALL OF SOUTHERN WISCONSIN MAY SEE
ICY PATCHES EARLY THIS MORNING...THE MOST LIKELY LOCATIONS TO SEE
PROBLEMS WITH PATCHY GLAZED SURFACES EARLY THIS MORNING WILL BE
ALONG AND WEST OF A DELLS TO MADISON LINE...AND THEN EAST ALONG
AND SOUTH OF THE I-94 CORRIDOR BETWEEN MADISON AND MILWAUKEE.

WARMING TEMPERATURES AFTER SUNRISE WILL REDUCE THE THREAT OF ICY
ROADS AND SIDEWALKS.

ANYONE VENTURING OUT EARLY THIS MORNING SHOULD BE ALERT FOR THE
SPOTTY ICY CONDITIONS AND EXERCISE CAUTION. SURFACES THAT LOOK
WET MAY ACTUALLY BE GLAZED AND SLICK. DRIVERS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR
ICY PATCHES AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE BETWEEN THEMSELVES AND
OTHER VEHICLES. BRIDGE DECKS AND RAMPS WILL BE LIKELY LOCATIONS TO
SEE ICY PATCHES.
