URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI
232 PM CST Thu Feb 23 2017

...ICE AND SNOW ACCUMULATIONS LIKELY TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY NIGHT...

.Strong low pressure moving through just to the south of
Wisconsin is expected to bring snow and ice accumulations to
southern Wisconsin tonight into Friday night. The highest snow and
ice totals are likely along and north of a line from Mineral
Point to Madison to Port Washington.

Though icing could be limited on sidewalks and roadways due to
initial warm temperatures, elevated tree limbs and power lines
will respond to the colder temperatures faster and will be more
susceptible to ice accumulations. Windy conditions are also
expected with this storm, which could increase the potential for
tree limbs and power lines to come down.
