URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET TO CONTINUE OVER PARTS OF THE AREA
THIS AFTERNOON...

.LIGHT FREEZING RAIN...POSSIBLY MIXED WITH SLEET...WILL CONTINUE
TO FALL ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN THIS
AFTERNOON....AND WILL SPREAD INTO THE SHEBOYGAN...FOND DU LAC AND
WESTFIELD AREAS BY MID-AFTERNOON.

TEMPERATURES HAVE WARMED TO JUST ABOVE FREEZING IN FAR SOUTHERN
WISCONSIN...FROM DARLINGTON...TO WAUKESHA...TO BROWN DEER AND
SOUTHEAST. HENCE THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN THESE AREAS IS
BEING ALLOWED TO EXPIRE OR HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO SLOWLY WARM TO JUST ABOVE FREEZING
OVER THE REST OF SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN THIS AFTERNOON. HOWEVER
PAVEMENT TEMPERATURES MAY LAG SURFACE TEMPERATURE WARMING BY
SEVERAL HOURS. HENCE THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY WILL REMAIN IN
EFFECT FROM ROUGHLY DODGEVILLE...TO MADISON...TO JEFFERSON AND
POINTS NORTHWEST.

LOW PRESSURE PASSING TO OUR SOUTH WILL CONTINUE TO BRING LIGHT
RAIN AND LIGHT FREEZING RAIN TO SOUTHERN WISCONSIN THROUGH
TONIGHT. ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF A LIGHT GLAZE TO UP TO ONE QUARTER
INCH IS EXPECTED. SEVERAL LOCATIONS HAVE REPORTED GLAZING AROUND
FIVE HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH THIS MORNING INCLUDING MADISON AND
MILWAUKEE.
