PENINSULA OVERNIGHT TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

.A STRONG EARLY FALL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL APPROACH THE UPPER
PENINSULA LATE TONIGHT...AND SLOWLY LIFT NORTHEAST OUT OF THE AREA
BY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. HEAVY RAINFALL OF 1.5 TO 3 INCHES WILL
OCCUR. DUE TO RECENT RAINFALL...MUCH OF THE RAINFALL MAY QUICKLY
RUNOFF...CAUSING AREA RIVERS AND STREAMS TO APPROACH OR EXCEED
BANKFUL BY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.

  MICHIGAN...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN CENTRAL UPPER
  MICHIGAN...ALGER...BARAGA...DELTA...DICKINSON...IRON...
  MARQUETTE AND MENOMINEE. IN WESTERN UPPER MICHIGAN...GOGEBIC...
   KEWEENAW...NORTHERN HOUGHTON...ONTONAGON AND SOUTHERN
  HOUGHTON.

* FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING

* HEAVY RAINFALL TOTALS OF 1.5 TO TO 3 INCHES EXPECTED...WITH THE
  HIGHEST AMOUNTS OCCURRING LATE TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* AREA RIVERS MAY APPROACH OR EXCEED BANKFUL.

CURRENT FORECASTS.

FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE
