FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
505 AM EDT Tue Jun 27 2017

...A BREAK FROM THE RAIN TODAY WITH WARMER TEMPERATURES...

.DISCUSSION: Today will be dry across much of Upper Michigan with
temperatures warming to near normal. Ample sunshine and warming
temperatures will allow the lake breezes along Superior and
Michigan to develop later this afternoon. As convergence increases
between the two colliding boundaries a few isolated showers will
be possible across the east, closest to Lake Michigan. Across the
interior portions of Upper Michigan, winds will become breezy this
afternoon. Wednesday into Thursday, widespread rain showers will
push west to east across Upper Michigan. A few areas may see
moderate to heavy rain at times.
