A MIX OF WINTRY PRECIPITATION OVER WESTERN UPPER MICHIGAN WILL SPREAD
TO THE EAST THE REST OF THIS EVENING...ARRIVING LATE THIS EVENING
AT MARQUETTE AND MUNISING AND AFTER MIDNIGHT AT NEWBERRY. OVER THE
WEST HALF OF UPPER MICHIGAN...PLAN ON SNOW AND SLEET AND A BRIEF
PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN...ESPECIALLY FROM IRONWOOD TO WATERSMEET AND
KENTON. THE EAST HALF OF UPPER MICHIGAN WILL MAINLY SEE SNOW FROM
THIS SYSTEM. TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS BY SATURDAY MORNING OVER 3
INCHES ARE EXPECTED OVER THE KEWEENAW PENINSULA...WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES
ELSEWHERE ACROSS UPPER MICHIGAN...WITH THE MOST NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR.
MINOR ICE ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE OVER FAR WESTERN UPPER MICHIGAN.
THE PRECIPITATION WILL TAPER TO DRIZZLE OR FREEZING DRIZZLE ON
SATURDAY MORNING.

IF TRAVELING THIS EVENING THROUGH TONIGHT USE CAUTION AS UNTREATED
ROADS MAY BECOME ICY AND HAZARDOUS.
