UPPER MICHIGAN WEDNESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING...

.A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM CROSSING THE NORTHERN PLAINS TONIGHT WILL BEGIN
TO SPREAD SNOW OVER FAR WESTERN UPPER MICHIGAN WEDNESDAY MORNING. AS
THIS LOW CONTINUES TO MOVE TOWARDS THE REGION...THE SNOW WILL FALL
MODERATELY TO LOCALLY HEAVY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE
SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT
BEFORE GRADUALLY DIMINISHING DURING THE DAY ON THURSDAY AS THE LOW
DISSIPATES WHILE LIFTING TOWARD ONTARIO.

 * SNOW IS EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO WESTERN UPPER MICHIGAN
   WEDNESDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING.

 * SNOWFALL AMOUNTS BY THURSDAY MORNING WILL LIKELY EXCEED 6 INCHES.
   SOME LOCATIONS COULD RECEIVE MORE THAN 10 INCHES OF SNOW BY THE
   TIME THE SNOW ENDS ON THURSDAY.

 * NORTH WINDS INCREASING TO 20 TO 30 MPH WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND
   THURSDAY WILL LIKELY LEAD TO BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW ALONG
   THE LAKE SUPERIOR SHORELINE.
