1 AM EST FRIDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MARQUETTE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR BLOWING SNOW WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 1 AM EST FRIDAY.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * WEST WINDS 25 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS APPROACHING 40 MPH WILL DEVELOP
   LATER THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. EXPECT REDUCED
   VISIBILITIES DOWN TO A QUARTER OF A MILE DUE TO BLOWING SNOW...AND
   ADDITIONAL LAKE EFFECT SNOW.

 * DRIFTING SNOW WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE.

 * SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS FROM LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY
   FRIDAY MORNING ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 1 TO 3 INCHES.

IMPACTS...

 * REDUCED VISIBILITIES AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL MAKE FOR HAZARDOUS TRAVEL.

 * ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLICK...ESPECIALLY LATER THIS
   AFTERNOON AND OVERNIGHT AFTER LAKE EFFECT SNOW DEVELOPS.
