...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM EST /3 AM CST/
FRIDAY TO 1 AM EST /MIDNIGHT CST/ SATURDAY...

The National Weather Service in Marquette has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow, which is in effect from 4 AM EST /3 AM
CST/ Friday to 1 AM EST /midnight CST/ Saturday.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * Expect wet and heavy snow to develop around 4 AM Friday and
   linger through the morning hours. There may be a time in the
   afternoon and evening where snowfall becomes light and mixes in
   with freezing drizzle. However snow is expected to pick back up
   Friday night into early Saturday morning.

 * The heaviest snowfall rates will occur between 4 AM Friday and
   1 PM Friday...where 2 to 4 inches of snow are possible.

 * Total snow accumulations of 5 to 7 inches and ice accumulations
   of one tenth of an inch are expected Friday through the day into
   Saturday morning.

IMPACTS...

 * The wet and heavy snow will make roads slick and snow covered
   for the morning commute.

 * A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet,
   or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared
   for slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution
   while driving.

The National Weather Service in Marquette has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow, which is in effect from 7 AM EST /6 AM
CST/ Friday to 7 AM EST /6 AM CST/ Saturday.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * Expect snow to lift north between 9 AM and 11 AM on Friday. A
   wet and heavy snow is most likely across Marquette and Iron
   counties.

 * The heaviest snowfall rates are expected in the late morning
   and afternoon hours and then across the higher terrain through
   much of Friday afternoon into Saturday.

 * Total snow accumulations of 8 to 12 inches are possible through
   Saturday morning. With the highest accumulations expected to be
   across the higher terrain in the northeast wind snow belts.

IMPACTS...

 * The snow will make roads slick and will likely impact the
   evening commute on Friday.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM FRIDAY TO 7 PM EST
SATURDAY...

The National Weather Service in Marquette has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and freezing drizzle, which is in
effect from 7 AM Friday to 7 PM EST Saturday.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * Expect snow to develop around 7 AM Friday and linger through
   the morning hours. The snow will then mix in with freezing
   drizzle during the afternoon and evening hours on Friday.
   Additional snow is expected on Saturday, along with blowing
   snow.

 * The heaviest snowfall rates will occur between 7 AM and 1 PM
   Friday, and minor ice accumulation will occur after 1PM
   Friday.

 * Wind gusts will increase on Saturday to around 30 MPH causing
   blowing and drifting snow, especially near Lake Superior.

 * Total snow accumulations of 4 to 9 inches and ice accumulations
   of two tenths of an inch are expected Friday through the day
   on Saturday.

IMPACTS...

 * The wet and heavy snow will make roads slick and snow covered
   on Friday.

 * The combination of snow and ice will result in difficult travel
   Friday afternoon through Saturday.

 * Blowing and drifting snow will cause reduced visibilities and
   make for difficult travel on Saturday.
