WEATHER ADVISORY TO A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW AND
BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST WEDNESDAY.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * EXPECT SNOW TO OVERSPREAD NORTHWEST UPPER MICHIGAN LATE THIS
   AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. THIS SNOW WILL DIMINISH WEDNESDAY
   AFTERNOON.

 * THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL RATES OF UP TO AN INCH PER HOUR ARE
   EXPECTED BETWEEN 9 PM AND 2 AM TONIGHT.

 * WINDS GUSTING AS HIGH AS 35 MPH NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR AND 25 MPH
   INLAND WILL CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW...ESPECIALLY NEAR
   LAKE SUPERIOR.

 * PLAN ON TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 8 TO 11 INCHES.
