...LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST
THIS AFTERNOON...

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * SNOW WILL REMAIN MODERATE TO POSSIBLY HEAVY AT TIMES. THE HEAVIEST
   BAND...ACROSS HOUGHTON AND MOHAWK EARLY THIS AFTERNOON...IS
   EXPECTED TO SHIFT NORTH OF MOHAWK TO DELAWARE BY MID AFTERNOON.
   DAYTIME SNOW TOTALS IN THESE AREAS ARE EXPECTED TO BE BETWEEN 3
   AND 6 INCHES. LOCATIONS NORTH AND SOUTH OF THE MAIN SNOW BAND WILL
   GENERALLY SEE 1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW THROUGH THE DAY TODAY.

 * WEST WINDS GUSTING TO 15 TO 25 MPH EARLY THIS AFTERNOON WILL
   CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW...ESPECIALLY FOR LOCATIONS
   ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF THE KEWEENAW PENINSULA NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR.

IMPACTS...

 * ROADS WILL BE SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY RESULTING IN POTENTIALLY
   HAZARDOUS TRAVEL.

 * VISIBILITY MAY BE REDUCED WHERE BLOWING SNOW OCCURS.
