 * LAKE EFFECT SNOW MAINLY ALONG THE LAKE SUPERIOR SHORE THIS EVENING
   IS EXPECTED TO MOVE INLAND LATE TONIGHT AND CONTINUE INTO EARLY
   SATURDAY.

 * NORTHWEST WINDS GUSTING UP TO 25 MPH NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR WILL
   LEAD TO PATCHY BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

 * EXPECT 6 TO 16 INCHES OF SNOW TO ACCUMULATE TONIGHT THROUGH
   THURSDAY NIGHT. SEVERAL MORE INCHES OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL OCCUR
   FRIDAY THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT. THE MOST SNOW WILL FALL OVER THE THE
   HIGHER TERRAIN NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR...INCLUDING AT
   IRONWOOD...BERGLAND AND ROCKLAND...WHILE THE LEAST SNOW WILL
   OCCUR WELL INLAND TOWARD WATERSMEET AND PAULDING.

   LEAD TO PATCHY BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW ALONG THE SHORELINE
   THURSDAY INTO THURSDAY NIGHT.

 * EXPECT SNOWFALL LATE TONIGHT INTO THURSDAY OF 5 TO 8 INCHES
   NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR WITH THE MOST SNOW FALLING OVER THE
   MICHIGAMME HIGHLANDS...INCLUDING AT HERMAN AND CHAMPION. SNOW
   AMOUNTS INLAND FROM REPUBLIC TO GWINN THROUGH LATE THURSDAY
   WILL BE 2 TO 5 INCHES. THE LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL CONTINUE
   THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT...WITH SEVERAL INCHES OF
   ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATION EXPECTED...HEAVIEST CLOSER TO LAKE
   SUPERIOR.
