THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY AFTERNOON...

.LOW PRESSURE MOVING OUT OF THE NORTHERN PLAINS WILL BRING WIDESPREAD
PRECIPITATION TO MUCH OF UPPER MICHIGAN THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
MIDDAY FRIDAY. SINCE TEMPERATURES WILL BE RIGHT AROUND FREEZING...A
MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW IS EXPECTED. TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO BE LOW
ENOUGH TO RESULT IN SNOW OVER THE KEWEENAW PENINSULA. THE SNOW MAY FALL
HEAVY AT TIMES THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING. GUSTY EAST WINDS
WILL RESULT IN BLOWING SNOW. CONDITIONS WILL BEGIN IMPROVING ON FRIDAY
AFTERNOON...WITH DRY BUT COOL WEATHER COMING IN FOR THE WEEKEND.

STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY EVENING THROUGH
FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * SNOW WILL DEVELOP LATE THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND FALL HEAVY AT TIMES
   INTO FRIDAY MORNING.

 * STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL EXCEEDING 8 INCHES IS POSSIBLE BY MIDDAY ON
   FRIDAY.

IMPACTS...

 * ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW AND SLUSH COVERED...ESPECIALLY THURSDAY
   EVENING INTO FRIDAY MORNING.

 * GUSTY EAST WINDS TO 30 MPH MAY RESULT IN BLOWING AND DRIFTING
   SNOW.
