Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A clipper low of 29.80 inches over Lake Superior will
continue to deepen to around 29.60 inches as it tracks towards
upstate New York by tonight. In its wake, a stalled front will
linger over the southern lakes Saturday while a ridge of high
pressure builds southeast into the region for Saturday night into
Sunday.

.REST OF TODAY...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Cloudy with light
snow showers likely. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TONIGHT...West winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15 knots
after midnight. Mostly cloudy. A chance of light snow showers after
midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest 5 to 10
knots late in the morning...then becoming light and variable early
in the afternoon becoming northeast 5 to 10 knots late in the
afternoon. Mostly cloudy. A chance of light snow showers until late
afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...East winds 5 to 10 knots. Mostly cloudy in the
evening becoming partly cloudy. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots veering to the south in the
afternoon and evening. Cloudy...then a chance of light rain and snow
showers in the evening. Waves 2 feet or less.
.MONDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Mostly cloudy with a chance
of rain and snow showers. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TUESDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots. Partly
cloudy. A chance of showers. Waves 2 feet or less. A Small Craft
Advisory may be needed.
