Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure near the Straits during the morning at
29.50 inches will move toward James Bay and deepen to 29.20 inches
by this evening. The strong cold front associated with this system
will move through northern Lake Huron by late morning and then reach
western Lake Erie toward evening. Northwest gales are likely by late
afternoon through tonight over the north half of Lake Huron,
diminishing but remaining moderate through Wednesday. High pressure
averaging 30.20 inches will then build into the region Thursday
through Friday.

and thunderstorms late in the morning. Showers and thunderstorms

.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 5 to 10
knots early in the morning. Partly cloudy early in the evening then
clearing. Showers and thunderstorms likely early in the evening.

.WEDNESDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots becoming northwest 10 to 15
knots in the late morning and afternoon. Mostly sunny. Waves 2 feet
or less.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...North winds 5 to 10 knots. Partly cloudy. Waves 2

.THURSDAY...North winds 5 to 10 knots. Mostly sunny becoming partly
sunny in the afternoon and evening becoming mostly clear. Waves 2
feet or less.
