Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge of high pressure, 30.00 inches, will settle
slowly south of the area today as the next clipper system develops
to the northwest. This clipper low of 29.80 inches will organize
north of Lake Huron late Thursday night into Friday and then deepen
as it tracks towards upstate New York Friday night. In its wake,
another ridge of high pressure will build east into the region.

.TODAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 5 to 10 knots
late in the afternoon. Partly sunny. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TONIGHT...West winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southwest 10 to 15
knots after midnight. Mostly clear until early morning becoming
mostly cloudy. Waves 2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Mostly cloudy with light
snow showers likely. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...West winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15
knots after midnight. Mostly cloudy early in the evening becoming
partly cloudy. Light snow showers likely early in the evening...then
a chance of light snow showers in the late evening and overnight.
Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots in the morning becoming
light and variable...then becoming southeast 5 to 10 knots in the
evening. Partly sunny with a chance of light snow showers until late
afternoon...then partly cloudy in the evening. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Partly cloudy. A chance of
rain and snow showers. Waves 2 feet or less.
.MONDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Mostly cloudy with a
chance of rain and snow showers. Waves 2 feet or less.
