Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure averaging 30.10 inches will get
pushed eastward today by an approaching frontal boundary which will
settle across the central Great Lakes tonight. A low pressure
system organizing over the Central Plains on Friday will then lift
northeast along the frontal boundary this weekend while deepening
to around 29.40 inches by the time it reaches the straits Sunday
morning.

...GALE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY
EVENING...

.REST OF TONIGHT...South winds 5 to 10 knots. Mostly cloudy. A
chance of light showers after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY...South winds 5 to 10 knots. Light showers. Waves 2 feet
or less.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...South winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southwest 15
to 20 knots. Light showers early in the evening...then a chance
of showers in the late evening and overnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SUNDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west 20 to 25
knots in the late morning and afternoon. Gusts to 35 knot gales.
Mostly cloudy. Light showers likely until late afternoon.. then a
chance of light showers late in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet.  A
Gale Warning may be needed.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30
knots diminishing to 10 to 15 knots. Mostly clear. A chance of light
showers early in the evening. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 5 to 10 knots
in the afternoon and evening. Mostly clear. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Clear. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Mostly clear. Waves 2
feet or less.
