Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge of high pressure will intrude into the area from a large
arctic high pressure system centered over the deep south. This
feature will largely remain in place into the weekend. To the north,
low pressure of 29.50 inches will track from the southern shores of
Hudson Bay into Ontario today. A second low will then organize over
the Canadian prairie provinces late Thursday and sweep east across
northern Ontario on Friday.

knots in the late evening and early morning...then diminishing to 15

.THURSDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15
knots late in the afternoon. Partly sunny.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots diminishing to 5 to
10 knots early in the morning. Partly cloudy.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20
knots in the evening. Partly sunny becoming mostly sunny in the late
morning and afternoon becoming partly cloudy.
.SATURDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Partly cloudy.
.SUNDAY...South winds 10 to 15 knots. Mostly cloudy with light
showers likely and a chance of light snow showers.
