WAVES ARE THE SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT - THE AVERAGE OF THE HIGHEST
1/3 OF THE WAVE SPECTRUM. OCCASIONAL WAVE HEIGHT IS THE AVERAGE OF
THE HIGHEST 1/10 OF THE WAVE SPECTRUM.

.SYNOPSIS...GUSTY NORTHWEST WIND WILL DIMINISH AND BACK TOWARD THE
WEST TODAY WHICH WILL HELP EASE THE HARSH MARINE CONDITIONS IN PLACE
OVER THE OPEN WATERS OF LAKE HURON. THE IMPROVEMENT WILL BE SHORT AS
THE NEXT ARCTIC COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE REGION FRIDAY. THIS
WILL LIKELY BRING A ROUND OF HIGH END GALES TO LAKE HURON ALONG WITH
ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVY FREEZING SPRAY THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT.
CONDITIONS WILL THEN GRADUALLY IMPROVE DURING SATURDAY AS HIGH
PRESSURE APPROACHES AND MOVES THROUGH THE GREAT LAKES SUNDAY.
