1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Mild air will be firmly in place today as moderate south
wind persists over all marine areas. An arctic cold front will then
sweep across the Great Lakes tonight following low pressure tracking
through Upper Michigan at 29.60 inches. North gales are expected
behind the front from after midnight through Friday night. Arctic
high pressure will build over the region Saturday and last through
Sunday.

.REST OF TODAY...South winds 15 to 20 knots. Patchy fog late in the
morning. Cloudy with a chance of light rain.
.TONIGHT...South winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest 5 to 10
knots after midnight...then becoming northwest 10 to 15 knots early
in the morning. Light rain until early morning...then rain early in
the morning.
.FRIDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming north 20 to 25
knots with gusts to 30 knots in the late morning and afternoon.
Freezing rain likely...possible sleet and rain in the morning. Light
snow. A Small Craft Advisory may be needed.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...North winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots
diminishing to 15 to 20 knots early in the morning. Mostly cloudy
with a chance of light snow showers.
.SATURDAY...North winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15 knots
in the evening. Mostly cloudy becoming partly sunny late in the
afternoon becoming mostly cloudy becoming partly cloudy late in the
evening.
.SUNDAY...South winds 5 to 10 knots. Partly cloudy.
.MONDAY...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Mostly cloudy with snow
showers likely.
