A warming trend will continue today through Sunday. By Sunday
afternoon, high temperatures will be around twelve degrees above
normal for this time of year. High temperatures will remain well
above seasonal values Monday through next Friday. A few strong
thunderstorms are possible in the Sierra Nevada and a portion of
the Kern County mountains and desert Friday afternoon. Chances
for thunderstorms in the Sierra Nevada increase again for Monday
afternoon.
