.DISCUSSION...
Hazy conditions are expected this afternoon before a cold front
moving across the region brings showers and thunderstorms to the
area this evening and tonight. Minimum RH values will be between
30 and 35 percent this afternoon with the high temperature
approaching 80 degrees. Winds will become southeasterly early
this afternoon, increasing to nearly 10 mph by this evening.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to move
over the area this evening and overnight (most likely timeframe
for storms will be around 10PM to 2AM, during which time winds may
become gusty and erratic). Southeast winds at 10 mph will
gradually switch to southwesterly overnight tonight and Wednesday,
also at 10 mph. As another front moves through winds will switch
to northerly Wednesday afternoon, but other than near any
thunderstorms an overall increase in wind speed is not expected.
The high temperature Wednesday will be around 72 degrees and RH
values are expected to remain above 50 percent through the day.

Periods of showers/storms will continue across the area tonight until
early Thursday morning, but it will not rain or storm the entire
time. Some of the storms may be strong to severe with large hail
and strong winds Wednesday afternoon and evening. Around 0.25" of
rain is expected through the entire period.
