This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...

Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms are forecast to develop
Thursday afternoon and evening east of Highway 25 in northwest
Kansas and southwest Nebraska. Stronger storms will be capable of
producing large hail and damaging winds.

Near critical fire weather conditions are possible west of Highway
27 Thursday afternoon due to low humidity and southwest winds gusting
up to 30 mph; a cold front will then shift winds to the northwest
gusting up to 50 mph.

For the holiday weekend, there will be a chance for storms both
Saturday and Sunday, with severe storms possible.
