...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN WEBB AND SOUTHERN LA
SALLE COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM CDT...

At 338 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles north of Fort Ewell Site to Encinal to
9 miles northwest of Las Tiendas. Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Encinal, Las Tiendas, Fort Ewell Site, La Esperanza Ranch Airport,
and Callaghan.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 25 and 55.
 US Highway 83 between mile markers 676 and 692.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
south central Texas.
