Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Pennsylvania
National Weather Service State College, PA
300 PM EDT Fri May 3 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Clouds are continuing to build in across western PA ahead of
unsettled weather. Showers and thunderstorm chances will increase
into the later afternoon and early evening hours. Locally heavy
rain showers are possible. Eastern PA will likely stay dry until
late saturday morning. High temperatures today will reach into low
80s and upper 70s, but are expected to be much cooler tomorrow.
Increasing winds are expected into Saturday with gusts up to 25mph
possible. However an abundance of moisture from the south east
will keep RH values high and skies overcast.
