...HEAVY RAINS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TONIGHT...

.HEAVY RAINS OF 1 TO 4 INCHES HAVE FALLEN IN MUCH OF EASTERN IOWA
AND EXTREME NORTHWEST ILLINOIS FROM SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH THIS
EVENING. AN ADDITIONAL HALF INCH TO 1 INCH IS LIKELY TO FALL OVER
MUCH OF EASTERN IOWA AND NORTHWEST ILLINOIS OVERNIGHT. LOCALIZED
AMOUNTS OVER 2 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE. WHILE FLASH FLOODING CANNOT BE
RULED OUT...THE MORE LIKELY IMPACT IS URBAN...SMALL STREAM AND
TRIBUTARY RIVER FLOODING.

  FOLLOWING AREAS...IN NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...CARROLL...JO
  DAVIESS...MERCER...ROCK ISLAND...STEPHENSON AND WHITESIDE. IN
  IOWA...BENTON...BUCHANAN...CEDAR...CLINTON...DELAWARE...DES
  MOINES...DUBUQUE...HENRY IA...IOWA...JACKSON...JEFFERSON...
  JOHNSON...JONES...KEOKUK...LEE...LINN...LOUISA...MUSCATINE...
  SCOTT...VAN BUREN AND WASHINGTON.

* UNTIL 6 AM CDT MONDAY

* HEAVY RAINFALL TOTALS WILL LEAD TO THE POSSIBILITY OF RIVER AND
  SMALL STREAM FLOODING. THERE WILL BE A LOWER CHANCE OF FLASH
  FLOODING.

* AS RAINFALL IS CONTINUED TO BE OBSERVED TONIGHT...RIVER FLOOD
  WARNINGS FOR SOME TRIBUTARY RIVERS ARE LIKELY TO BE ISSUED OVER
  THE NEXT 24 HOURS.  PLEASE REFER TO RIVER FLOOD WARNINGS FOR ANY
  SPECIFIC RIVER FORECASTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING BASED ON
CURRENT FORECASTS.  MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND TAKE ACTION IF A
