.AFTER ROUNDS OF HEAVY RAIN PRODUCING THUNDERSTORMS MOVED ACROSS
THE AREA THIS MORNING...ANOTHER ROUND OF STORM DEVELOPMENT WITH
HEAVY RAIN IS DEVELOPING THIS EVENING AND WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT
ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHEASTERN IOWA...FAR NORTHEASTERN MISSOURI
AND ILLINOIS. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL OF PRODUCING
1 TO 4 INCHES OR MORE OF RAINFALL BY EARLY THURSDAY MORNING. THIS
AMOUNT OF RAINFALL ON TOP OF WHAT OCCURRED EARLIER TODAY MAY PRODUCE
FLASH FLOODING TONIGHT ACROSS THESE AREAS OF CONCERN. THUS A FLASH
FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT.

  ISLAND...WARREN AND WHITESIDE. IN IOWA...CEDAR...DES MOINES...
  HENRY IA...JEFFERSON...JOHNSON...KEOKUK...LEE...LOUISA...
  MUSCATINE...SCOTT...VAN BUREN AND WASHINGTON. IN NORTHEAST
  MISSOURI...CLARK AND SCOTLAND.

* THE COMBINATION OF LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL EARLIER THIS MORNING
  ACTING AS A PRIMER...AND MORE THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING BY
  TONIGHT WITH HEAVY RAINFALL OF 1 TO 4 INCHES POSSIBLE...MAY
  LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING.

* FLASH FLOODING IS POSSIBLE ALONG CREEKS... LOW LYING AREAS...
  AND URBAN AREAS TONIGHT WHERE HEAVY RAINFALL OCCURS. WATER MAY
  ALSO COVER ROADS ALONG WITH RAPID RISES ON LOCAL STREAMS.
