the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternate route. Turn around, don`t drown.

...Flood Warning now in effect until Saturday morning...

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Iowa River at Marengo.
* Until Saturday morning.
* At 8:00 AM Wednesday the stage was 13.9 feet...and rising.
* Flood stage is 14 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage this morning...and continue
  rising to 15.5 feet Friday. Fall below flood stage Saturday
  morning.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet...Water affects low-lying agricultural land
  along the river.
