...The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Maquoketa River at Manchester Hwy 20 affecting Delaware and Jones
  Counties
  Maquoketa River near Maquoketa affecting Jackson County
  Wapsipinicon River at Independence affecting Buchanan and Linn
  Counties
  Wapsipinicon River near Anamosa Shaw Rd affecting Cedar...Jones and
  Linn Counties
  Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Clinton and Scott
  Counties

.Significant rainfall over the past 24 hours will lead to major flooding
on portions of the Maquoketa and Wapsipinicon Rivers.

River forecasts include past precipitation and forecast rainfall for
the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternate route. Turn around, don`t drown.

* Flood Warning for
  The Maquoketa River at Manchester Hwy 20.
* Until Sunday evening.
* At 10:15 AM Saturday the stage was 10.4 feet...and rising.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage today. Crest between 22.0 feet
  and 24.0 feet on Sunday morning. Fall below flood stage Sunday
  evening.

* Until Tuesday morning.
* At 10:15 AM Saturday the stage was 19.4 feet...and rising.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage today. Crest between 28.5 feet
  and 29.5 feet Sunday morning. Fall below flood stage Tuesday morning.
* Impact...At  28.5 feet...Major Flood Stage. Water is affecting the
  north side of the city of Maquoketa and widespread agricultural
  flooding.

* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage Sunday morning. Crest between
  17.5 feet and 19.5 feet Monday. Fall below flood stage Wednesday.
* Impact...At  19.0 feet...Water affects the backs of businesses on
  1st Street in Independence.

* At 10:15 AM Saturday the stage was 7.3 feet...and falling.
* Flood stage is 14.5 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage Tuesday morning. Crest between
  21.5 feet and 23.5 feet Wednesday evening.
* Impact...At  22.9 feet...Fairview Highway at the Wapsi Bridge is
  closed.

* Until further notice.
* At 10:30 AM Saturday the stage was 10.2 feet...and rising.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage today...and continue rising to
  12.1 feet Sunday morning. Crest between 13 feet and 14 feet July 29th.
* Impact...At  13.0 feet...Water affects many residences along the
  river.
