...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the
following rivers in Illinois...

  Pecatonica River at Freeport affecting Stephenson County

.Recent heavy rainfall over northern Illinois, and additional forecasted
heavy rainfall tonight will push the Pecatonica River at Freeport
into moderate flooding.

River forecasts include past precipitation and forecast rainfall for
the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternate route. Turn around, don`t drown.

...Forecast flooding increased from Minor to Moderate severity...

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Pecatonica River at Freeport.
* Until further notice.
* At  8:30 AM Friday the stage was 12.6 feet...and steady.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise to 12.7 feet today...then become nearly steady.
  Begin rising late tonight and rise above flood stage Sunday
  morning. Continue rising to 14.1 feet Tuesday evening.
* Impact...At  14.0 feet...Minor street flooding begins in Freeport
  and water affects a few back yards east of the Pecatonica River.
