...Forecast flooding changed from Moderate to Major severity for the
following rivers in Missouri...

  Fox River at Wayland affecting Clark County

.Heavy rain earlier today is pushing crest levels on the Fox river
much higher than previously forecast.

River forecasts include past precipitation and forecast rainfall for
the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternate route. Turn around, don`t drown.

* Until Sunday morning.
* At  3:30 PM Friday the stage was 18.9 feet...And rising.
* Flood stage is  15 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Recent activity...The river is rising rapidly.
* Forecast...Rise to 20.3 feet Saturday morning. Fall below flood
  stage Sunday morning.
