* UNTIL WEDNESDAY EVENING.
* AT  2:15 PM TUESDAY THE STAGE WAS 17.4 FEET...AND RISING.
* FLOOD STAGE IS  18 FEET.
* NO FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* RECENT ACTIVITY...THE RIVER IS RISING RAPIDLY.
* FORECAST...RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE THIS EVENING...AND CONTINUE
  RISING TO 18.9 FEET WEDNESDAY MORNING. FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE
  WEDNESDAY EVENING.
* IMPACT...AT  18 FEET...FLOODING OCCURS OVER THE LOWER RIVER BANKS.
