  MCDONOUGH COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
  SOUTHWESTERN LEE COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN IOWA...
  SCOTLAND COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN MISSOURI...
  CLARK COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN MISSOURI...

* UNTIL 600 PM CDT

* AT 355 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN
  CONTINUED OVER PORTIONS OF EASTERN HANCOCK COUNTY AND MCDONOUGH
  COUNTY. WIDESPREAD HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES FROM
  EARLIER TODAY HAS CAUSED FLOODING AND SOME ROAD CLOSURES...WHICH
  WILL CONTINUE LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY EVENING EVEN AFTER
  RAIN HAS EXITED THE AREA.

  MACOMB...KEOKUK...CARTHAGE...KAHOKA...MEMPHIS...NAUVOO...
  BUSHNELL...HAMILTON...WESTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY...WARSAW...
  FANDON...COLCHESTER...DISCO...LA HARPE...COLUSA...NEW BOSTON...
  MONTROSE...BLANDINSVILLE...CROTON...AUGUSTA...COLMAR...INDUSTRY...
  BOWEN...PRAIRIE CITY...ST. FRANCISVILLE...WAYLAND...GOOD HOPE...
  ADAIR...WYACONDA AND BARDOLPH.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR HAS BEEN REPORTED.
STREAM RISES WILL BE SLOW AND FLASH FLOODING IS NOT EXPECTED.
HOWEVER...ALL INTERESTED PARTIES SHOULD TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS
IMMEDIATELY.

MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO
AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. FLOOD WATERS ARE USUALLY
DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS POWERFUL
ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED
ROADS MAKE THE SMART CHOICE...TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN.
