CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A STRONG COOL FRONT WILL FIRE THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH TONIGHT.
STRONG TO LOCALLY SEVERE STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE MAIN
THREAT BEING STRONG DAMAGING WINDS AROUND 70 MPH. AN ISOLATED
TORNADO IS ALSO POSSIBLE...MAINLY SOUTH OF A LINE FROM CEDAR
RAPIDS TO THE QUAD CITIES. HIGH MOISTURE LEVELS ALSO SUPPORT
HEAVY RAINS WITH WIDESPREAD 1 PLUS INCH AMOUNTS AND THE RISK FOR
LOCALIZED 2 TO 4 INCH AMOUNTS...WHICH MAY RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING
AND RENEWED RISES ON AREA RIVERS.

FLOOD STATEMENTS AND FLOOD WARNINGS FOR DETAILS.
