This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

An area of showers and thunderstorms will move across eastern Iowa
this morning and dissipate as they move into northern Illinois by
late morning. Another chance for showers and thunderstorms will be
occur this afternoon and tonight, as a weak front sets up over the
area. At this time, severe storms are not expected, but a few
strong afternoon storms with small hail and gusty winds are
possible, especially along and just south of Interstate 80 in
Iowa and Illinois.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected from late
Tuesday night through Wednesday night. Heavy rain is possible from
these storms. At this time, it appears strong storms may occur
Wednesday afternoon and evening, but it is too early to determine
the exact threat for severe storms.

Low chances for thunderstorms are forecast for Thursday thru
Sunday. It is also too early to determine the severe threat from
these storm chances.
