THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL
ILLINOIS...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EAST
CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE IN COVERAGE ACROSS THE
OUTLOOK AREA LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. SOME THUNDERSTORMS MAY
BECOME STRONG AND PRODUCE WIND GUSTS AROUND 50 MPH AND SMALL HAIL.
ISOLATED SEVERE STORMS PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS ARE NOT OUT OF THE
QUESTION...BUT THE MAIN THREAT REMAINS THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY
RAIN WITH LOCALIZED RAINFALL AMOUNTS OVER AN INCH. HEAVY RAIN
PRODUCING THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOST WIDESPREAD ACROSS THE OUTLOOK
AREA THROUGH MIDNIGHT. IN AREAS THAT GET HIT BY REPEATED
STORMS...SOME URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING MAY OCCUR.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS COULD LINGER ON SATURDAY...MAINLY ALONG
AND EAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. NO SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY IMPACT MUCH OF THE OUTLOOK AREA
LATE SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY. THE RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER APPEARS LOW
AT THIS TIME...ALTHOUGH LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL AGAIN BE POSSIBLE.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS EVERY DAY FROM TUESDAY THROUGH
SATURDAY. THE OVERALL SEVERE WEATHER THREAT IS LOW AT THIS TIME.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

THERE IS A LOW PROBABILITY OF SPOTTER ACTIVATION THROUGH TONIGHT.
HOWEVER... REPORTS OF HEAVY RAINFALL OVER ONE INCH WOULD BE
APPRECIATED.
