This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Light snow will develop later this morning in Buchanan and Benton
counties of northeast Iowa, with accumulations up to 1 inch by
late this afternoon. The snow will then spread over the remainder
of the outlook area this evening and then gradually diminish from
west to east after midnight. Total accumulations will be in the
1 to 3 inch range.

River flooding will be possible over the next several days based
upon forecast rainfall. There is low confidence on the river
forecasts, but minor flooding is possible on portions of the Iowa
and Cedar Rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However
reports of snow accumulations of an inch or more is appreciated.
