THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL
ILLINOIS...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EAST
CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

SOME THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE COMING OUT OF NORTHWEST
MISSOURI AND INTO SOUTHEASTERN IOWA NORTHEASTERN MISSOURI THROUGH
EARLY EVENING. BUT A BETTER CHANCE FOR MORE WIDESPREAD STORMS MAY
OCCUR LATER TONIGHT INTO EARLY FRIDAY MORNING MOVING OUT OF
CENTRAL IOWA AND ACROSS THE OUTLOOK AREA. A FEW OF THESE STORMS
MAY BE SEVERE WITH A PRIMARY THREAT OF DAMAGING WINDS...AND A
SECONDARY THREAT OF LARGE HAIL. AREAS ALONG AND WEST OF A LINE
FROM CEDAR RAPIDS...TO BURLINGTON IOWA ARE IN A SLIGHT RISK FOR
SEVERE WEATHER TONIGHT.

ANY SUBSTANTIAL STORM WILL ALSO HAVE THE CAPABILITY OF PRODUCING
VERY HEAVY RAINFALL. AREAS THAT GET HIT BY ONE OR MORE STORM
CLUSTERS MAY GET OVER AN INCH OF RAIN BY FRIDAY MORNING AND
EXPERIENCE SOME PONDING OF WATER ON ROADS AND DRAINAGE DITCHES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...SEVERAL ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED
AND ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE. THE MAIN THREATS
WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL AND FREQUENT DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS ARE EXPECTED WITH WIDESPREAD 1 TO 3 INCHES OF
RAIN EXPECTED BY SUNDAY WHICH MAY CAUSE SOME RIVER WATER ISSUES.

TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS.
HOWEVER...IT IS TOO EARLY TO DETERMINE THE RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER
BUT ADDITIONAL LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE WHICH MAY RESULT
IN WATER ISSUES ON BOTH AREA RIVERS AND POSSIBLY FLASH FLOODING.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED TONIGHT...ESPECIALLY WEST OF THE
MISSISSIPPI RIVER.
